Blyth's Reed Warbler
Acrocephalus dumetorun

Habitat: Dry habitats and near water, bushes and trees at the edge of forests, orchards.
Size: Slightly smaller than a sparrow.
Distribution: Widespread and common across the country, except for north-west parts where it is found only as a passage migrant.
Identification: May be confused with Booted Warbler (Hippolais caligata); head slopes back from the bill in Blyth’s Reed but Booted has rounder head. Call is best identification feature of the Blyth’s: a harsh chuck. May also be confused with other Reed Warblers, all of which either have strong facial markings and/or are much larger.
